If you are interested in pursuing a professional counselling qualification:
The Guernsey Institute (TGI) are offering counselling courses, which are CPCAB accredited.
Level 2 Award in Introduction to Counselling (ICSK-L2):
commencing: Tuesday 24 February 2026 (10 weekly sessions, 6 – 9 pm at Coutanchez Campus)
Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills (CSK-L2)
commencing: Saturday 21 March 2026 (12 monthly sessions, 9.30 – 5.00 pm at Coutanchez Campus)
PLUS a mandatory Induction Evening on Monday 6 March 2026, 6.00 – 8.00 pm.
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies (CST-L3)
commencing: TBA (September 2026 start, 12 monthly sessions, 9.30 – 5.00 pm at Coutanchez Campus)

As part of the Diploma (Level 4 course) it is necessary to undertake 100 counselling hours. Guernsey Counselling Service are (subject to conditions) able to offer placements and practical support, in order to enable trainees to meet this requirement.
